Our certified recycling process: disassembly into component streams (PCBs, batteries, metals, plastics, screens) → data destruction on all storage media → PCBs sent to authorized precious metal smelters → batteries to authorized Li-ion/lead-acid recyclers → metals to certified smelters → hazardous materials (mercury, lead) to authorized hazardous waste facilities → KSPCB recycling certificate issued. 98.2% of all material is diverted from landfill.

Accepted Answer

Walk-in drop-offs are free for all items. Free pickup for 10+ devices anywhere in Ernakulam. For buyback items, you get paid (not charged). The only fee is a ₹100 handling charge for CRT TVs/monitors due to the high cost of processing lead-glass. There are no hidden fees.

Can I recycle my old TV, AC or refrigerator through EWaste Kochi?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We accept all large appliances: TVs (LED, LCD, CRT), air conditioners (split, window, VRF), refrigerators (all sizes), washing machines (top and front load), microwave ovens. ACs and refrigerators require special handling for refrigerants — we are equipped and authorized for this. Schedule a pickup for large appliances at no cost.
